The ILS works to support and help co-ordinate lifesaving development activities of member federations and regions by developing Position Statements covering important issues related to lifesaving.

Medical Position Statements

The ILS mission is to enhance the safety and preservation of human life in the aquatic environment and it does this by several means, including the facilitating of the exchange of information on research and best practice. We present hereunder the Medical Position Statements approved by ILS.
