Palestinian Swimming and Aquatic Sports Federation
The Palestinian Swimming and Aquatic Sports Federation was constituted in 1993. The Federation has a very young swimming and lifesaving team and is participating in many national swimming competitions every year.
The Federation is having activities in the Aquatic Sports (swimming, diving and waterpolo) but also in Lifesaving and SCUBA Diving. The Federation is member of the FINA and of the CMAS as well as from the Arab Diving Federation.
In the past the Federation participated in some FIS events and some International Boat rescue competitions that were held in Bulgaria some years ago.
We are organising many life saving courses every year and are eager to participate in the activities of ILS. Palestine is in a big need and is very thirsty for the new information’s and a development programme.
Palestina became Associate Member of ILS on 16 September 2004.
