New President for Lifesaving South Africa

John Julyan was recently elected as President of Lifesaving South Africa. John is a member of Clifton Surf Lifesaving Club, which is based in Cape Town.

He was the President of Western Province Stillwater Lifesaving for a number of years before he was elected Vice President in Lifesaving South Africa in 2003. For a number of years he was the Nipper Manager at his surf club and he is an active judge at competitions.

Both Johns children are involved in lifesaving: his daughter, Ondine has her Western Province Surf and Stillwater colours and his son, Rory 16 also his Western Province Surf and Stillwater colours

John is a International Investment Manager at ABSA Private Bank (previously Barclays Wealth).

At the same meeting, Dylan Tommy, also from Western Province, was elected Vice President.
