The ILS is pleased to announce that the venues for the World Conferences on Drowning Prevention (WCDP) for 2021 and 2023, and the Lifesaving World Championships (LWC) for 2022 and 2024 have been selected in a ground breaking decision.

World Conference on Drowning Prevention (WCDP)

The hosts for the WCDP 2021 will be Colombo, Sri Lanka

The hosts for the WCDP 2023 will be Marrakesh, Morocco.

Lifesaving World Championships

The Host for the LWC 2024 will be the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

The hosts for LWC 2022 will be Agadir, Morocco.

The ILS congratulates all of the successful bidders for their commitment, and also those other bidders who were not successful on this occasion.
