The National Association of Professional Divers and Lifeguards from Romania (ANSPS) is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1999. The main activities are water rescue, lifesaving and SCUBA diving.

The lifeguards activities are mainly on the Black Sea, the lakes Danubin as well as the Danubin delta. The ANSPS has services of over 100 pools on the Romanian Black Sea Coast.

The founding members of ANSPS are instructors, SCUBA professional divers, physicians and engineers in marine technology. they founded this non-profit association to work efficiently and to allow the organisation to become member of ILS.

The ANSPS has started its lifeguard services in 2001 and became full member of ILS in May 2003.
