The Lifesaving Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported on their activities in lifesaving development in the Middle East.

A first workshop on lifesaving organisation and development and a course of International Instructor and Lifesaving were organised from 16-20 February in the National Olympic Committee premises in Tehran.

Participants of different nationalities participated in the course such as Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Syria and Oman. All courses were held according to the rules of ILS and in three languages (Arabic, English and Persian).
