Only a few steps from the pool you reach ¾Berlin-Mitte“ with ¾Reichstag“ and ¾Brandenburg Gate“ – the political centre of Germany. Berlin is a cultural city too – with orchestras, theatres, operas, the Museum-Island, the film festival ¾Berlinale“ or even a vital club scene. And Berlin is a shoppers paradise with the Gallery Lafayette Berlin or the famous ¾KaDeWe“.

The Beach competitions will be held in the town of Warnemünde. This seaside resort of the Hanseatic City of Rostock will be the ideal place for the beach events. Just 2,5 hours away from Berlin and situated at the Baltic Sea, Warnemünde offers perfect conditions. It is one of the most popular tourist centres at the Baltic Sea as there is a fine sandy beach and good infrastructures. DLRG runs the International NIVEA Cup on this beach each year.
