Iran develops lifesaving in Syria

From 22 March until March 31st the Lifesaving Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a lifesaving course in Syria with the purpose of developing lifesaving in the Middle East.

This course consisted of 3 parts:
– Lifesaving (second grade)
– Lifesaving Instructor
– Hydrotherapy

Fifty persons participated in the course and twenty-seven of these participants received their “Lifesaving Instructor certificates, twelve participants received “Lifesaving certificates and all of them received the “Hydrotherapy certificates.

This was a successful initiative and the Lifesaving and Diving Federation of Iran asked Syria to become a member of the International Lifesaving Federation.
