The ILS Sport Commission has confirmed the appointments for Chief Referee and Deputy Chief Referee positions at the Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018. There was a big response to the call for nominations for these positions and Commission was rather overwhelmed by the large number of applications. It received 187 applications from 50 persons from 17 federations for only 28 positions – this was obviously not an easy task for the Commission to make the appointments.

After consideration, the following persons have been appointed:
