Today marks exactly 365 days until the start of the Lifesaving World Championships that will take place in Adelaide – Australia in November 2018. Lifesavers from all over the globe will descend on South Australia for the 16-day event from 16th November to 2nd December 2018. The organisers are expecting this to be the biggest and best ever held with thousands of competitors, volunteers and officials from around the world participating.

The ILS Sport Commission is pleased to confirm that the registration system for all the Lifesaving World Championships in 2018 is now open. A comprehensive User Guide has been prepared to give team managers all the information needed to register their teams and enter their competitors into the events. It contains details of the entry fees, qualifying guide times and the link required to access the OrgaNet Registration System that is now open.

National Team and Interclub Team Managers from all the ILS Member federations are encouraged to register their teams as early as possible to take advantage of the early-bird rates. The entry deadlines are:
• 16th November 2017 to 19th February 2018 – Early
• 20th February 2018 to 2nd October 2018 – Normal
• 3rd October 2018 to 16th October 2018 – Late

Entries will be closed one month before the start of the first event. No entries will be accepted after 16th October 2018.

Separate registration systems for the accreditation of ILS Delegates, Technical Officials and all supporters and families of competing teams will be opened early in 2018.
