The ILS Sport Commission is now publishing Technical Bulletin#2 July 2018 concerning the format and conduct of the Oceanman, Oceanwoman, and Mixed Ocean Lifesaver Relay events at the Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018.

This confirms that an ‘M’ shape course will be used in the National Teams Open and Youth heats and finals, in the finals of the Interclub Teams Open and Youth Championships, and in the finals of the Mixed Ocean Lifesaver Relay events.

Furthermore in the finals of the Oceanman and Oceanwoman events for all National Teams and Interclub Championships an Eliminator format will be used.

The Masters Oceanman and Oceanwoman events will use the standard course and format.
