ILS Sport Commission publishes Competition Handbook for LWC 2022

On Saturday 22 May 2021, the ILS Sport Commission held its first meeting of the new quadrennial. The meeting was opened to all members of the various Sport Commission Committees as well as the Commission members as an introduction to the work programmes of the new Commission.

With 50 people in attendance, the draw for the Ocean M Lifesaver Relay at the Lifesaving World Championships (LWC) 2022 to assign genders to the 4 legs of the event was made, so that the ILS LWC 2022 Competition Handbook could be finalised and published. During the meeting a demonstration was given of the new LWC Results Database, which now includes Technical Officials attendance records at LWCs, and the World Games Leading Qualification Times.
