Today marks one year to the day that the World Games of 2022 will begin in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. On 7th July 2022, the opening ceremony of the games that were postponed from 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic will take place. To mark the one-year countdown, the Birmingham Organising Committee today announce that tickets for the events of TWG 2022 are going on sale.

The World Games is an 11-day sports celebration held in the year following the Summer Olympic Games. The Games represents the highest level of competition for more than 3,600 international athletes and 30+ unique sports. Lifesaving is one of those sports, and the Lifesaving Events at TWG 2022 will take place on 10th and 11th July 2022 at the Birmingham Crossplex Natatorium.
