The ILS Event Management Committee is pleased to be able to publish the detailed competition programmes for the Lifesaving World Championships (LWC) 2022 for the Masters and the National Teams Open and Youth events.

These remain with a provisional status until the close of entries in August 2022 when the final entry numbers are known and the exact programmes can be confirmed.

The ILS has agreed to publish these detailed programmes earlier than usual to assist participants in understanding when their chosen events are taking place so that they can plan their travel arrangements and choose the appropriate accommodation package.

However, as with any event held at an Ocean/Beach venue, the weather and sea conditions can impact significantly on the ability to safely run the scheduled programme. All participating competitors are reminded of the need to ensure that they are available for the whole duration of the section of the competition in which they wish to participate in case late changes are necessary.
