If you have already made a Will
If you have already made a Will but would like to leave a gift to ILS, you can make a simple addition to your existing Will. This is called a codicil.
If you have not made a Will
If you do not have a Will at the moment, you may need to see a solicitor. Although you will have to pay a fee, you will receive professional advice and can be sure that your wishes are achieved.
Two ways to give to ILS in your Will
- Pecuniary gift: give a fixed amount of money.
- Residuary gift: leave a share, or the whole, of what remains in your estate after providing for your loved ones.
