Equivalency Tables

National Certificates from courses that have been approved by ILS to comply with the ILS educational standards can be converted to ILS International Certificates.

All convertible national qualifications/certificates are shown on the National Lifesaving Organisation’s equivalency table.

If your National Lifesaving organisation is not listed here or your national certificate is not mentioned on the equivalency table, it cannot be converted to an ILS International Certificate.

Contact your National Lifesaving Organisation to apply for an ILS International Certificate.

ILS does not handle individual applications.

The tables are solely to be interpreted in one direction, from national certificate to ILS certificate.
