The 3rd IWSS (International Water Safety Symposium) is organized with the legacy of the successful symposium in Incheon 2016.

The 3rd IWSS brings together leading international researchers and experts to share knowledge of water safety to enhance worldwide understanding of water safety in various approaches.
The symposium is held in Incheon, hub city of Asia from 19th to 23rd June 2018.

The symposium will integrate the development of marine science, public education and training strategies to reduce the risk of accident in water environment such as swimming pool, waterfront and beach.

Key themes include scientific and engineering analysis of water safety, social scientific implementation of water safety including tourism, emergency response, first-aid and environmental protection.

There are opportunities to visit unique coastal beaches in Incheon and you will witness the beach safety operation system in Korean Coast Guard. Also all participants will have formal and casual social gathering organized by LOC.
