On behalf of Aqualove Sauvetage and the Fédération Française de Sauvetage et de Secourisme I would like invite your Federation to consider sending a national team to an International IRB Team event to be held as part of the Arena Rescue 2014 on Sunday 8th June at La Grande Motte, France.
The competition will also be open to club teams wishing to participate. This will be the first IRB Sport competition to be held in France and an important opportunity for our Federation to prepare for the World IRB Championships in September 2014 which will be held as part of RESCUE 2014 at the same venue.

International or Club Teams of up to 12 men and women representing their Federation will compete for The International IRB Challenge. We appreciate that supporting additional International teams as well as those already attending RESCUE 2014 would not be easy for many Federations so as this is a development event we encourage the endorsement of athletes from the different ILS Federations living or working overseas to compete for a representative team.

In order to encourage the development of IRB Sport in France and the rest of Europe the ILSE IRB Sport Working Group and the ILSE College of Referees will provide an IRB Sport Coaching course for new competitors and an IRB Sport Officials course on Saturday 7th June. We would welcome anyone who is interested to attend and get involved in this exciting and growing sport.
