The ILS Sport Commission is pleased to be able to announce today, 6 September all of the Technical Officials who have been appointed to officiate at each of the World Championships at LWC 2024.

The LWC 2024 Local Organising Committee is very well advanced in its planning for the delivery of the first full LWC since the start of the Covid Pandemic in 2020. At least 6,000 competitors are expected to participate throughout the full range of World Championships, for Masters, National Teams, Interclub Teams, Surfboats and IRBs.

With 450 applicants some challenging decisions had to be made in conjunction with the Chief Referees to appoint the teams who will conduct the Championships.

The ILS Sport Commission wishes to congratulate all those listed on their appointments which, through the hard work in particular of Mr Jelle Meintsma, the ILS Sport Commission Secretary, can be published just less than 1 year out from the start of LWC 2024.
