The Chinese Taipei Surf Life Saving Association was established in 1993. In the first few years, the CTSLSA send more than 100 instructors and examiners to go to Australia, the USA and the UK to learn the most advanced surf lifesaving skills as a standard of teaching model. All the lifesaving equipment of CTSLSA is from Australia or the USA and is upgrade every year.

CTSLSA not only sending people to join international training but also conduct a lot of training in different area of Chinese Taipei beaches.
