The National Chinese Surf Life Saving Association was established in 1993. In the first few years, the NCSLSA sent more than 100 instructors and examiners to go to Australia, the USA and the UK to learn the most advanced surf lifesaving skills as a standard of teaching model. All the lifesaving equipment of NCSLSA is from Australia or the USA and is upgraded every year.

The NCSLSA not only sends people to join international training but also conducts a lot of trainings in different areas of Chinese Taipei beaches.
