26th NPS All-Women Set for 2010
The U.S. DOI / National Park Service (NPS) is pleased to inform you that the 26th NPS All-Women Life-guard Tournament is set to take place on Wednesday, 28 July 2010.

Venue close to major airport

The venue for the event is the Sandy Hook Unit (New Jersey) of Gateway National Recreation Area – which lies about 1 hour away from Newark (New Jersey) International Airport (Download Map).

Workforce-Diversity Initiative

The All-Women is a National Park Service workforce-diversity initiative. Its purpose is encourage more women to consider surf-lifeguarding — a line of work where women, even in 2009, are underrepresented.
