Lifesaving World Championships 2018

The ILS Sport Commission is very pleased to announce an update to the appointment of all Technical Officials for the Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018 (LWC 2018). The update takes account of recent withdrawals and changes that have been advised. Please note that with more than 5 months before events begin, it is likely that there will be further changes to be made.

All appointed Technical Officials must confirm their intention to attend the LWC 2018 by 16th July by registering through the ILS OrgaNet registration system. Visit the LWC 2018 website for further information on how to access the registration system. To date almost two thirds of those appointed have successfully registered, and this is a reminder to those yet to register to apply for their OrgaNet account as soon as possible to do this.

Registration on this system is mandatory to ensure that the Local Organising Committee can provide appropriate accreditation tags for all appointed technical officials to allow access to the competition venues, transport, debrief area and the relevant social functions.

Travel and accommodation expenses for all Technical Officials are to be paid for either by the Technical Official themselves, or their National Federation. No such expenses are provided for by the Local Organising Committee of the Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018, Surf Lifesaving South Australia, Surf Lifesaving Australia (Limited), the International Lifesaving Federation (ILS) or the ILS Sport Commission.
