The Federation was established with the desire of its founders to organise diving and lifesaving, including education of divers and lifeguards, who did not complete their courses whatever their degrees under the auspices of the Federation and attract the largest possible number of divers, lifeguards, referees, coaches and clubs to build together the next stage of these sports at all levels.

We want to apply the model proposed by the CMAS and by the ILS to modernise and develop the education in order to converge with what the other advanced countries have reached in this regard.

Within the ILS, we hope that we can save lives from drowning in all Lebanon and we endeavour to develop Lifesaving, Lifeguarding and Lifesaving Sport in all our clubs.
