Board of Directors

The BOD Meeting will take place in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt on 20 and 21 February 2004.

20-12-2003: Notification of Meeting mailed to Membership including Agenda.
20-01-2004: Preparatory Documents mailed to the Board of Directors.
20-04-2004: Minutes of the meeting mailed to the ILS Membership.

General Assembly (GA)

The GA will take place in Viareggio in Italy on 14 and 15 September 2004.

10-03-2004: Notification of Meeting mailed to Membership including Draft Agenda.
10-05-2004: Changes of Agenda submitted to the ILS Headquarters.
10-07-2004: Agenda mailed to the ILS Membership.
10-07-2004: Preparatory Documents mailed to the ILS Membership.
10-07-2004: Nominations lists mailed to the ILS Membership.

Nominations and elections

10-03-2004: Call for Nominations for ILS President, ILS Secretary General,
Commission Membership (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Members) and ILS auditors.
10-05-2004: Nominations for ILS President and Secretary General received.
10-07-2004: Nominations for Commission Membership received.
10-07-2004: Nominations for ILS Auditors received.
10-07-2004: Nominations included in preparatory documents and mailed to members.
15-09-2004: Elections for ILS President and ILS Secretary General by the GA.
15-09-2004: Elections of ILS Auditors by the GA.
15-09-2004: Ratification by the ILS GA of the elections in the Regional Bodies.
15-09-2004: Appointments of ILS Commission Members by the ILS BOD.

2008 World Championships – Rescue 2008

31-03-2004: Complete bid received at the ILS Headquarters (before midnight).
The bid is considered complete if it includes the following five elements:
– A formal bidding letter.
– The ILS bidding survey.
– A bidding document, with maps.
– The budget (income – expenditures) of the World Championships.
– The payment of the bidding fee of 1.000 Euro must be received before that date on the ILS bank account.
May-June: Inspection visits.

15-08-2004: Report of the inspection.
13-09-2004: Full presentation to the ILS Board of Directors.
13-09-2004: Vote on the host city.
31-12-2004: Contract signed before that date.

Note: bids will be considered incomplete if one or more of the five elements given above are missing. Incomplete bids will be void.
