Our dear friend and colleague, John Martin MBE, Event Director of ILS, has passed away.
He lost his fight against cancer and died peacefully at the age of 67, surrounded by his wife and family.
John’s commitment and dedication to Lifesaving was invaluable and his legacy will live on.
He is cherished in our memories.
We are so sorry about that, John Martin always helped us from Brazil. We are so sad with this news. May God comfort his family, our prayers are with him and his family.

John Martin was essential not only for ILS but also for Life Saving Brazil.
We lost a great friend and servant of world lifesaving. He was indespensable, modest, gentleman, and too many good things for too many people and organizations.
I’m so sad to hear the unfortunate news.
The sadness of the family will not heal, but I would like to express my sincere condolences.
We will forever remember our friend John Martin for his contribution to the world’s lifesaving efforts.
