World Drowning Prevention Day: ILS President Statement

The first ever World Drowning Prevention Day (WDPD) will be celebrated this year on 25 July 2021 with activity being co-ordinated by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The ILS strongly supports the resolution and encourages everyone to promote the WDPD.

    I think recognizing “World Drowning Prevention Day 25 July is a step in the right direction in calling attention to the many people who drown every year on the Planet Earth due to various reason.Reportely approximately 600 people die a day by drowning throughout the world.Let all of us involved in water safety business do our part to help solve this problem.
